TEMPERATURES are an average of the week’s temperatures.

RAINFALL is based on the average for the week and is shown in mms and inches.

RAIN DAYS are the average number of days you nay expect rain. This includes thunderstorms and does not indicate that rain will fall all day.

SUN DAYS per month give an indication of the type of weather and includes days of sunny intervals

CLOUDY DAYS are when there was no sun

SUN HOURS is the number of hours of sunshine in the month

UV INDEX is the average amount of UV. See explanation.

These are averages and should not be used as a firm indication of the weather for any particular week. Being close to the mountains, the weather produces it's own micro-climate and during the summer much of the rain comes from  localised thunderstorms.

The table below shows average temperatures and weather for each week through the season. These figures are only an indication of the weather you might expect during your holiday. The figures are compiled from our weather station at Tuquet over the past 13 years.
